Regardless of whether it is an internal or external collaboration, these groups of leaders have typically come together because their respective organizations have some elements of a shared vision, shared values, and complementary capabilities. These are the three areas I would begin exploring to help the group improve its collective performance. My engagement could occur through participating in your regular leadership team meetings, and/or playing a predetermined role within a specific strategy process or initiative.
